Contract period

  • There are two types of contracts: a 6-month contract for long-term students, and 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month contracts for short-term students.
  • The 6-month contract for long-term students can be renewed for an additional 6 months or 3 months upon the expiration of the contract term.
    ※Renewal is limited to one time only. The maximum length of stay in the dormitory is one year.
    ※When renewing your contract, an entrance fee corresponding to the contract period will be required. (See entrance fee for details.)
    ※A deposit and cleaning fee are not required when renewing the contract.
  • The contract for when a student switches from a 3-month short-term to a long-term after enrollment is as follows:
    [Short-Term Contract] 3-month contract + approximately 10 days of dormitory and utility fees (water, electricity, and gas) + [Long-Term Contract] 6-month contract (renewable)
  • Contract start dates are four times a year: April 1st, July 1st, October 1st, and January 1st, regardless of the date you entered the dormitory.
  • The months for leaving the dormitory are March, June, September and December four times a year. (except one-month and two-month short term).
    The deadline for leaving the dormitory is the day after the last day of class. (Around March 20th, June 20th, September 20th, December 20th).
  • The date of leaving the dormitory must be requested at least one month in advance on the application form for leaving the dormitory.

Entrance fee

  • Payment is only made at the time of entering the dormitory. There are no refunds after payment.
  • A 6-month contract is 6/12 months of the monthly dormitory fee, a 3-month contract is 3/12 months, a 2-month contract is 2/12 months and a 1-month contract is 1/12 months.

Deposit

  • Payment is only made at the time of entering the dormitory. 30,000 deposit for 6-month contracts only. Short-term contracts do not require a deposit.
  • Any surplus will be refunded within two months of leaving the dormitory, after covering the compensation and other liabilities in the event of damage to equipment, interiors and facilities in the dormitories.

Cleaning fee

  • Payment is only made at the time of entering the dormitory. This is a cleaning fee to be used upon your move-out. It is not refundable after entering the dormitory.

Dormitory fee

  • For 6-month contracts, three months' rent must be paid in advance. Short-term contracts are paid in full in advance.
  • The deadline for leaving the dormitory due to the expiry of a six-month contract is around 20th, so the remaining days of the month of leaving will be refunded within two months.
  • There are no refunds for short-term contracts. Please note that there are no refunds for dormitory fees for three-month contracts, as these cover the cost of two months and 20 days.

Utility fee

  • The water, electricity and gas costs are fixed. For 6-month contracts, 3 months must be paid in advance. Short-term contracts are paid in full in advance.
  • The deadline for leaving the dormitory due to the expiry of a six-month contract is around 20th, so the remaining days of the month of leaving will be refunded within two months.
  • There are no refunds for short-term contracts. Please note that there are no refunds for utility fees for three-month contracts, as these cover the cost of two months and 20 days.

【Cancellation Policy】
  1. Cancellation for long-term students: 1. Before acceptance of the Certificate of Eligibility: Full refund. 2. After acceptance of the Certificate of Eligibility: Refund except for the entrance fee.
  2. Cancellation for short-term students: 1. Until 7 days before the designated move-in date: Full refund. 2. Within 6 days of the designated move-in date: Refund except for the entrance fee.
